Abundant Life Advent Challenge: Day 9

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been inspired as this challenge progresses. I’m seeing other things around the house that don’t need to be here, and I’m adding them to the donation box.

If you haven’t started this challenge yet, I pray you will join us. Start today. You don’t have to make up the first eight days. I won’t tell anyone. Your secret is safe with me. Spend some time this evening and make room for more of God by prayerfully considering this challenge and asking God what you need to let go of to make room for what He has for you. It may not be the items from today. It may be something deeper.

Today, we are tackling t-shirts! You know you have a stash of them that need to go. Either they are too big, or too small, you don’t like them, or they are falling apart. If you have more than 30 t-shirts, you have way too many. That would be one per day for a month. If you only wear t-shirts this may be a wardrobe strategy, but I’m betting you just haven’t taken the time to part with some. Today, get rid of 9! You can do this. Stains or holes, bye-bye t-shirt. You don’t need twenty sleep shirts, mowing, or paint shirts, or whatever it is you use as your excuse to hang on to those old tees.
